To keep up Maersk Lines excellent service, Maersk Line will be extending the current PSS.
Far East to North Europe
Maersk Line will be extending Far East to North Europe Peak Season Surcharge (PSS)
of USD250/teu to be effective from 1st March 2010.
Scope: Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will apply to all cargo moving from all Far East
origins to all destinations in North Europe.
For Taiwan, PSS will only be effective 15th March 2010 due to local regulations.
Far East to the Mediterranean
Maersk Line will be extending current Far East to Mediterranean Peak Season
Surcharge (PSS). PSS level will remain unchanged from February level.
Scope: Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will apply to all cargo moving from all Far East
origins to all destinations in the Mediterranean.
For Taiwan, PSS will only be effective 15th March 2010 due to local regulations.
Restoration Initiative (RRI)
As announced on the 29th January 2010, Maersk Line will together with the PSS be
implementing Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) of USD250/teu effective from 1st
March 2010.
Scope: Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will apply to all cargo moving from all Far East
origins to all destinations in North Europe and the Mediterranean.
