Maersk in Europacific announce the General Rate Increase for the Mediterran to East Coast South America.
We herein inform that effective from 1st of October 2009 Maersk Line will implement a General Rate Increase for all dry and reefer cargo shipments from Mediterranean to East Coast South America (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay), as follows:
EUR 200 per TEU
This increase is necessary to continue providing a first class service on this trade, in an environment where the operating costs remain on the rise and current rates are below sustainable levels. In this respect, we sincerely solicit your usual understanding and continued support.
